England: The Gaming Act 1738 (12 Geo. II., c. 28) bans all lotteries and games of chance, along with Ace of Hearts, Pharaoh (Faro), Basset, and Hazard.

England: The Gaming Act 1739 (13 Geo. II., c. 19) explicitly bans Passage, and all other games played with dice except for Backgammon.
